Stirred up by some conversation on Facebook wether this is real NY pizza or not, I made my way out to make my own judgment. To be clear, I grew up in Brooklyn and have eaten the best pizza in America on a regular basis.
I arrived right around lunch rush but there was hardly any rush since the place hardly looked open. There was me and only one other gentleman. There were no pizzas or any other baked pizzeria goods on display. Not a good sign for a pizzeria. Granted they open at 11am but at 1pm when I had arrived, things should be in full swing and the display case should be filled with delicious pizza options.
A friendly older gentleman greeted me, took my order and handled my pizza which magically arrived from the back. Seems like a one person operation. Considering there's no demand for pizza then there's no need to be fully staffed.
On to the pizza, the slice was good for Ashburn standards but it was "okay" at best for NY standards. The slice wasn't too thick, had good structure and slight crispness. The sauce came out of a jar because it tasted heavy in tomato paste and lots of "Italian" seasoning. The cheese was good but the slice was more greasy than I like.
If it were rated on a barstool pizza review scale then it would be a 5.7 out of 10. -

This place is inconsistent and a waste of my money.
My first visit- walked in and no one was there. Waited for 7 minutes.. yelled to the back, nothing.
Second visit- got a slice of pizza that they reheated and burnt it to a crisp.
Last visit ever (today)- thought I would try a sub. Asked the only person working if the Chick Parm sub was made with a single chicken breast, chopped pieces or tenders. He said, sir it's a single breaded breast. Cool, let's do it! It took 23 minutes.. not a soul in the place. I take it back to my work and A. It is not a single beast but minced pieces B. It is grilled chicken, not breaded C. Barely any chicken even on it.
Mathis is the worst chick parm I have ever had and will not return. -

This place is my favorite for NY style pizza and subs. I love this place, they make good food. It's the only place that comes close to NY style food which reminds me of home. Sadly, the restaurant needs some TLC. What I mean is some repair, new decorations, the bathrooms need attention. I hope the owner reads my review and take care of the environment.
I give the food 4 stars. -

I've ordered many times from Antonio's now as I discovered they serve all halal. Man, I was so excited when the guy confirmed it on the phone he laughed at me!
First time, I ordered the 10" pepperoni pizza and 10 wings. Both were delicious.
Second time, I was a little disappointed because I placed an order for wings and a large pizza and they called as my delivery guy was leaving to tell me they didn't have wings.
Overall, the service is good. Sometimes when you call the staff doesn't sound very alert or awake, but they get the orders right. Also, it's not NY NY pizza, but it definitely hits the spot! I will be a repeat customer time and time again. Really enjoy the food and hope they stick around! -

I ordered through DoorDash. The delivery service was great, but I got a steak and cheese that didn't even have enough meat to cover the sub...which was burnt. Super disappointing.
